![]() Nestle Waters North America (Ice Mountain brand) has been looking at the headwaters of the White River as an additional source for spring water for their bottling operations in Stanwood, Michigan. Officially we have not developed a position ..... yet. There WAS a public meeting between Monroe Township and Nestle on January 10, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the township hall located at 4141 E Filmore. Joe Catalano heard estimated of 225 to 250 concerned citizens showed up and spoke at this meeting. Thank you all, who participated. As was mentioned at the Monroe Township meeting, the WRWP board will be mailing a letter to the DEQ asking for a public meeting as soon as it may be permitted. We will make that date known and where it will occur , when all the details are finalized, which may take a little time. Here is the response back from the MDEQ.
